The questions we get most.
Does ExpiryDesk really not see my documents?
Correct. Document photos, expiry dates, document numbers — all stored encrypted on your phone using your device's secure storage. We can't read them, even if we wanted to.
What happens if I lose my phone?
If you opted into iCloud or Google Drive backup, restore on your new phone with the same Apple ID or Google account. Your documents come back. If you didn't enable backup, the documents are gone — that's the trade-off of true on-device privacy.
How are emails private if you send them?
Email reminders never name the document. They say “you have a renewal coming up — open ExpiryDesk to see which one.” We know your email address (you log in with it). We don't know which document is expiring.
Why isn't there a free trial of Premium Family?
There is. Both Premium and Premium Family include a 7-day free trial automatically — no credit card required to start. Cancel anytime before day 7 and you're not charged.
